Farfel Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons fat
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 beat egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 3 cups farfel
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 tablespoon parsley

Steps

  1. Melt fat and add celery and onion- cook, stir for 5 minutes
  2. Mix farfel and water, add to vegetables
  3. Stir in salt, pepper, and ginger
  4. Cook and stir for 5 minutes more
  5. Remove from heat and add a little of the mix to the egg
  6. Stir well and add this to the stuffing
  7. Add parsley and blend all the ingredients
  8. Cool before filling meat or fowl
