Ingredients
- 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
- 1 medium cucumber scored and thinly sliced (2 cups)
- 1/2 cup sliced green onion with tops
- 1/2 cup salad oil
- 3 tbl dry white wine
- 3 tbl white wine vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp dried salad herbs
- 1 tsp dried salad herbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
Steps
- Sprinkle tomato lightly with a little salt
- Alternate layers of tomato, cucumber, and onion in a deep bowl
- In screw top jar, combine oil, wine vinegar, salad herbs, salt, and pepper
- Cover and shake. Pour over veggies in the bowl
- Cover and chill for 5 to 6 hours
- 6 servings
