Noodle Pudding #2 – Laura R

This has basically no directions. I’m adding in steps from another recipe in italics to flush this out. 

Ingredients

  • 10 oz wide noodles
  • 1 stick oleo (margarine)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 oz cream cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup apricot nectar
  • 1/4 stick comb. (what is this??)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup cornflake

Steps

  1. Combine cream cheese, eggs, milk, apricot nectar, and 3/4 stick oleo together
  2. Add 3/4 stick oleo to noodles- Add noodles to the mixture, put the mixture in baking pan
  3. Sprinkle cornflakes, remaining sugar, and remaining butter on top of noodles
  4. Make 1 day ahead, bake 350 1 hour, allow to sit 20 minutes

Rice Pudding

Rice Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 quart milk
  • 1/2 cup short ground arborio rice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 medium pineapple- cored and cut small
  • 4 eggs large- separate
  • Pinch of salt

Steps

  1. Combine milk and salt
  2. Wash and drain rice, combine with milk
  3. Slowly bring to boil, stir, cover, simmer for 20 minutes/ feel tender
  4. Add sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and pineapple- continue stirring until sugar dissolves
  5. Preheat oven to 325
  6. Butter 2 quart casserole
  7. Whisk egg yolks and slowly combine with rice mix
  8. Beat whites and add to above- fold spoon into casserole
  9. Bake 20-25 minutes until brown
  10. Cook, serve room temp

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 3/4 cups crisco
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup cake meal
  • 1/2 cup potato starch
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Steps

  1. Cream sugar, crisco, and salt
  2. Add eggs one at a time, mix well
  3. Mix together cake meal and potato starch
  4. Add starch mixture to eggs, little at a time
  5. Add lemon juice and nuts
  6. Roll out and shape
  7. Bake at 350 (does not have a length of time)
  8. Remove and slice and toast

There are two key words that I cannot make out in this recipe. Please look at the original and let me know if you can read these

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • Salt
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 2/3 cup cake meal
  • 1 tablespoon ?????

Steps

  1. Take eggs, salt, oil, sugar and beat 10 minutes
  2. ?????, add cake meal- 1 tablespoon ????– also beat 10 minutes
  3. Batter should be thick to drop- also
  4. Spoon onto greased cookie sheet
  5. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes, 350 for 20-30 minutes

Chocolate Chip Passover Cookies

Chocolate Chip Passover Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups cake meal
  • 1/4 cup matzo meal
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cup unsalted butter or margarine
  • 2 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips

Steps

  1. Preheat over to 350. Grease two baking sheets or line with wax paper.
  2. Mix the butter with brown sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and eggs.
  3. Blend in cake and matzah meal
  4. Stir in chocolate chips
  5. Scoop large tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets
  6. Flatten with spoon
  7. Bake until slightly golden, 13-15 minutes

Makes approximately four dozen cookies

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs well beaten
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 scant cup cake meal
  • 1 cup dates, cut fine
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 8″ square pan

Steps

  1. Mix together beaten eggs and sugar
  2. Sift dry ingredients and add egg mixture
  3. Stir in dates and nuts
  4. Bake at 325 for 45 minutes
  5. Let stand 15 minutes, then cut into bars
