Ingredients
- 1 box Keebler fudge cookies, crumbled
- ½ stick butter
- 12 oz chocolate chips
- 1 tbl instant coffee
- 4 eggs
- ½ cup hot water
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ tsp cream of tartar
- ½ cup sugar
- 3- ½ pints whipping cream
Steps
- Melt ½ stick butter and mix with cookies. Put in spring form on sides and bottom.
- Melt chocolate chips. Dissolve coffee in hot water. Mix chocolate, coffee, and sugar in double boiler. Cool.
- Add 4 egg yolks and mix. Beat 4 egg whites with ½ tsp cream of tartar and ½ cup sugar.
- Beat whipping cream. Put chocolate into cream. Fold all into egg whites. Freeze.
- Defrost 4 hours before and put small layer of chipped cream on top. Grate chocolate on top.
